The CSO International Poster Biennial in Mexico is a civil association founded in 1989 with the aim of creating an international project dedicated to poster, with the premise that it is such an effective medium of message transmission that there had to be an agent in charge of recollecting the information to make history of the graphics. Even more importantly, the Poster Biennial was thought since its beginnings as an information exchange platform of creators, where related projects are impulsed or born.

BICM+ is the brand of all the products that the Poster Biennial organizes, that is to say, the total of projects that are under this non-profit civil society organization’s charge.

Ever since posters came into people’s life, no matter how the times change, posters have always visualized the artist’s views of and reflections on politics, economy, culture and life, promoting social progresses and economic growth, and enriching cultural life. Posters are worthy of study as an important literature and also as a visual indicator of the social development in different times, indicating social problems, cultural phenomena, popular aesthetics and trends of thoughts. Today, with the rapid development of the world, this is a great era of change. The future has arrived, when art designs are made with new media instead of the old, into an interactive interface between individuals and the society. This year's China international poster biennale aims to explore and exhibit the innovations from different countries and regions in the new era and to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning among international professional designers.

Since 2003, when the 1st China International Poster Biennale was held in Hangzhou by the West Lake, the exhibition has always been China's top-notch international competition of poster design, a cultural exchange program approved by the Ministry of Culture. In the past 16 years, it has been one of the poster contests and exhibitions that are academically advanced and are appealing to the international graphic designers.

China International Poster Biennial is sponsored by the China Academy of Art, organized by CAA’s School of Design and China Design Museum. It is intended to present the up-to-date art-of-the-skill of graphic design and the charm of posters. Hopefully, via competing, exhibiting, lecturing, publishing, interviewing and reviewing, it will grow into an important platform in China’s design teaching and study.

The German Design Awards are an international pacesetter when it comes to current design practice, as well as staying competitive in a globalised economy. The award bestows accolades solely on those projects that are pioneering in the German and international design sphere. This high standard is assured by an international jury consisting of prominent individuals from the whole gamut of design sectors. Their assessments are of incalculable value, for any designer who impresses this jury is demonstrably an expert when it comes to design innovation and also has the rare ability to closely monitor customer desires and market trends. Winners of the German Design Awards are the cream of the crop. Their achievements will be showcased for an influential audience, and the scope of their networks, their market clout, and their reach in their home markets and abroad will grow – and with it their opportunities to achieve success in their work.

Golden Bee was born in 1992, suddenly, unexpectedly and expected. Iron Curtain collapsed, ended the era of visual famine, the world became open. In 1990, I found myself for the first time abroad, at Biennale in Brno, plunged into it supersaturated and multilingual environment, which turned the native and clear, through the universal language of design. Biennale in Brno, which was held its founding father Jan Rajlich Sr., was inspiring cultural patterns and a real teacher for Golden Bee. Then, in this capacity, it added, and another old biennales -- in Warsaw, Lahti and Fort Collins. Almost simultaneously with Golden Bee appeared poster festivals in Chaumont, Mexico, Trnava, Sofia and Kharkov. Peers Moscow biennale became its partner and friends. The beginning of 90s proved the turning point of time not only for Russia. The entire design world experienced a paradigm shift, the output of postmodernism to the forefront of history, the computer revolution, the onset of the digital era. This is largely determine the vector of development of Golden Bee. Searching of fresh visual language, creative innovations, experiments plastic, deepening kultural creating value of design is most clearly manifested itself in the poster. Therefore, the Poster became Golden Bee a key competitive category. Today, despite all the talk about "death of poster" one by one, created new poster biennales -- in Bolivia, Italy, China, Ecuador... Together with its "brothers and sisters", older and younger, the Moscow biennale forms a kind of global network of design events that monitor of visual culture and determine its development. Over time Golden Bee, became "Global". Firstly, it is beautiful sounds Golden Bee -- Global Biennale. But most importantly Golden Bee has grown so much that a naming began to look quite organically. In 2020, Golden Bee 14 received more than 30,000 entries. This is a new world record. I dedicated it to the memory of Jan Rajlich who would have turned 100 this year.
