The Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) is operated under the supervision of the Office of the Prime Minister. Forty-five years later it continues that mission, even in today’s micro-digital environments. Studying small-sized magazine and electronic thumbnails can be useful but a first-hand viewing with a full-sized poster is a rich experience of large imagery on real walls.
Each of the invited designers submits two copies of two posters, resulting in exhibitions that can approach 200 posters. One copy of the poster is exhibited while the other copy is preserved in the International Poster Collection at Colorado State University Library. With the variety of subjects, viewpoints and techniques that the posters represent, both the exhibition and the archived collection serve as sources of education, enlightenment and enjoyment. The planning for the 23rd edition is well underway for opening September 2024.
