卢永强(David Lo)拥有德州候斯顿大学(荣誉)艺术学士学位。 1995年回港后,于BGX及陈幼坚设计公司任职美术总监。 1999年加盟美国精英广告公司(Grey Worldwide),并成立品牌设计部精信设计顾问(WBA)。 2006年加盟南华传媒,担任集团总经理,负责管理《君子》(Esquire)和《车王》(CarPlus)等刊物。同年创立卢永强创作事务所(LOMATTERS)。
卢氏拥有丰富的国际及大中华区品牌创作和媒体经验,他的设计风格鲜明而睿智,融合中西文化精髓,并以敏锐的市场触觉为机构提供企业形象、策略规划和品牌管理等服务。
卢永强曾参与多个机构的形象及品牌设计,涵盖香港贝沙湾、新鸿基地产、太古地产、香港宽频、金山科技、香港煤气公司、香港迪士尼、澳门旅游塔会展娱乐中心、澳门美高梅酒店、澳门兰桂坊酒店、瑞安房地产、新世界酒店、雅辰酒店集团及新濠影汇等。市场及包装设计方面则包括微软、中国银行、李锦记、淘大、金源米业、宝洁(P&G)及KEF等。
他的作品曾获得百多项本地及国际设计奖项,包括美国传理艺术(Communication Arts)、纽约艺术节(New York Festival)、美国金铅笔(ONE Show)、澳洲Young Guns、日本应用排版(Applied Typography)、亚洲最具影响力设计大奖(DFAA)及香港设计师会双年奖(HKDA Awards)等。
卢永强热心推广和参与设计教育,曾担任香港及海外多间设计学院的客座讲师。此外,还包括担任香港设计师协会会长(2014-2016)、香港设计中心董事会副主席、香港设计委员会委员、香港贸易发展局设计委员会会员、香港邮票设计咨询委员会委员、香港学术及职业资历评审局学科专家、港台文化合作委员会成员,以及香港知专设计学院和香港高等教育科技学院的顾问。

Launched by Hong Kong Design Centre in 2003, with The Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as the lead sponsor, the DFA Design for Asia Awards has been globally acknowledged as an award that aims to recognise outstanding projects embodying design excellence and benefiting the betterment of the design industry as well as Asia societies. To date, over 2,800 impactful design projects in Asia have been awarded under the DFA Design for Asia Awards.

David Lo
Holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree from the University of Houston in Texas. After returning to Hong Kong in 1995, he worked as the Art Director at BGX and Alan Chan Design Company. In 1999, he joined Grey Worldwide, where he established the brand design department, Wba. In 2006, he became the Group General Manager at South China Media, overseeing publications such as Esquire and CarPlus. That same year, he founded LOMATTERS, his creative consultancy.
David has extensive experience in international and Greater China brand creation and media. His design style is distinctive and insightful, blending the essence of Eastern and Western cultures, and he provides services in corporate identity, strategic planning, and brand management.
He has participated in the branding and identity design of various organizations, including Hong Kong’s Residence Bel-Air, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Swire Properties, Hong Kong Broadband, Hong Kong Towngas, Hong Kong Disneyland, Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center, MGM Macau, Lan Kwai Fong Hotel, Macau, Shui On Land, New World Hotels, Artyzen Hotels Group, and Studio City Macau. His market and packaging design work includes clients such as Microsoft, Bank of China, Lee Kum Kee, Taikoo Sugar, Golden Resources, Procter & Gamble (P&G), and KEF.
His work has won over a hundred local and international design awards, including Communication Arts, New York Festival, ONE Show, Young Guns Australia, Applied Typography in Japan, Design For Asia Awards (DFAA), and the HKDA Awards.
David is passionate about promoting and participating in design education, having served as a visiting lecturer at various design schools in Hong Kong and abroad. He has also held positions such as Chairman of the Hong Kong Designers Association (2014-2016), Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Design Centre, Member of the Hong Kong Design Council, Member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Design Committee, Member of the Hong Kong Stamp Design Advisory Committee, Subject Expert for the Hong Kong Council for Academic and Vocational Qualifications, Member of the Hong Kong and Taiwan Cultural Cooperation Committee, and Advisor to the Hong Kong Design Institute etc.
